Sales Route Distributor
R.L. Schreiber, Inc. is a national food base and spice manufacturing company seeking a distributor for our products in the Richmond area. This is an established sales route with a solid customer base to build upon. Restaurant/Sales experience is a plus but not necessary. We will train the right candidate regardless of experience. The right individual will be able to work independently and manage all aspects of the route including servicing the existing customer base, build the route by securing new business or present additional products to the existing customer base, and manage a warehouse inventory. Self-motivation, a strong work ethic and a cargo van are a must to be considered for this position. You will be a self-employed independent contractor representing the R.L. Need a Sous Chef or a Head/Lead Chef for my kitchen. Candidates must be able to handle high volume healthy gourmet food production. The salary is very competitive and the hours are good.
We do a lot of bulk production cooking, with little time constraints ( we are always ahead of the game so there is little stress) The food is produced and cooled down the first day and packed the following day then sent out by Fed Ex that evening. This Sous Chef would need to be strong on sauce making.
I am also looking for a Steward/Utility person with good receiving and organizing skills that would not mind prepping and washing pot/pans (basic cleaning) and also a couple of good cooks/prep people

As an Executive Baker you will oversee all front- and back-of-house operations and be responsible for food production and overall supervision of kitchen activity. The Executive Baker will be responsible for all the baking on campus, producing over 500,000 cookies and other culinary deserts a year.. The Executive Baker will interact with customers and clients on a daily basis as well as have responsibility for staffing, scheduling, training and developing an hourly staff.
Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's or related culinary degree with 2+ years of industry & management experience. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. Candidate must have high volume baking and food experience with the ability to create and produce high quality culinary deserts. Previous experience with food production, purchasing processes and daily foodservice operations is required. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
